DIVUNDU VILLAGE

Divundu village [1] is found 200km east of Rundu town on/along the Trans-Caprivi highway and on the junction of Bio-road to Muhembo border post going to Botswana.

There is also Bridge [2] at Divundu village, and has been widened to cater for growing economic activities along the popular route which links Namibia to neighbouring countries. this Bridge plays an important role in facilitating the export and import of goods between Namibia and neighbouring countries. The bridge further enables the delivery of government services such as medical, education and security to remote areas of the country.

this village is occupied by almost all tribes of Namibian nation. no farming takes place within this village itself, only on its outskirt where people practice all types of farming, example livestock farming [3] , Irrigation farming and aqua-cultural farming producing all types of staple food in Namibia.

Divundu village bounds Angola and Botswana and its having a rainfall of up to 200ms per annual and all types of crops grow in this village. the vegetation [4] in this village is not so thick but the surrounding of this village has a thick forest and have a flat land. this village is mainly contracted by the Hambukushu [5] traditional authority.
