Arresting Mothers who are dumping their babies will not resolve the problems of Baby Dumping

Dumping of new born babies is becoming a very serious concern that can be regarded as a threat. It is one of the social problems that are disturbing us. The baby dumping issue is spreading fast. Even though baby dumping is a crime and it's the children's rights to life but i see no end to baby dumping.

The reality is that life is

     *tough
     *economically
     *socially,
     *the rise of unemployment rate
     *the increase pressure due to the cost of living  that is affecting us today.

We have a tendency of pointing fingers to everyone that we want and not thinking of the reason behind the main matter such as fathers denying paternity, and mothers that are still in school and unprepared to take care of the child etc. Young mothers resort to dumping their babies because they primary lack knowledge, understanding of where to get help. They are denied, ignored, and they have poor judgement. when they are traumatized they do things out of desperation. but I guess not every person will agree with me.

I would say, no threat of prosecution and bluster will change the reality of baby dumping to any of the young woman that throw away their babies. We should try to reason with them to resolve the problem with those mothers. If the government can avail any type of facilities such as orphanage home for new born babies to every woman that gives birth who are enable to care for their baby or support them or due to circumstances of not wanting their babies. Imagine how many babies are dumped everyday, its a lot, not even counting the ones that are not report in the newspaper or TV. Our population is already few, if we let some woman to continue throwing away their babies, when will the population rise? I feel the only hope is by offering any kinds of alternatives to baby dumping, so that those woman who commits such acts, might leave their babies at a place they can call home for their babies.
