Briery Church edit

Briery Church is a Presbyterian church located just outside of Keysville, Virginia in Prince Edward County. A current member of the PC(USA), Briery Church was organized in 1755.

 
Built in 1855, the current santuary was built in the Gothic style by Robert Lewis Dabney.

In the 1740s and '50s, the evangilist Samuel Davies--later to be the fourth president of Princeton University--helped organize a Presbyterian revival across Southside Virginia. The result was the creation of several Presbyterian churches throughout the state, one of which was Briery Church[1].
