Flood in Namibia

During rain season in some parts of Namibia especially northern parts the heavy rain occur and this will lead to flood [[1]]. Flood is occuring it is destroying the environment and the living condition of people[2].

The cause of flood

Soil erosion is cause during flood when soil are washed out by water,this happen when the place clear withought plants due to deforestation that had take place as nowhere the soil can stuck on.as this is happening it cause the soil to be infertile because nutrients will be washed out with water[3]. Flood had contributed to health problems of peoples living near where flood is occuring since they are on high risk of getting diseases like maralia,diarhoe and other to those who need its cause by near water they are using because they are not clean to be used especially for drinking and cooking.Flood cause people who are affected to be homeless because the home will be under water or their way home willbe blocked by water,this will force them to leave their house.Flood can cause damage to roads which cause transport links being destroyed, so hard to get emergency aid to those who need it,bridge,building can also be destroyed.

Benefits of flood

As flood had occur it bring foods to people especially fish which is favorite to food to most people.Floods distribute rich sediment and refresh streams.Flood bring water near to people who usually fetch water from far.It make plants to grow fast especially that grow in place where thereis ore water and provide enough food for animals[4].
