Hello! I am a freshman in high school. I go to a charter school in Raleigh, North Carolina. I'm usually seen changing grammar mistakes and making minor edits. (gotta study for those SATs, hah.)

My current favorite books as of January 2014 are A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, and Legend by Marie Lu. (I read the latter on a whim in an hour at eleven at night. It was amazing and the characters were just so wonderful in a different way from everything else... however, unfortunately the second and third books of the series massively disappointed me.) I also read short stories, but I'm picky; Salinger is the best. However, mostly I prefer clear writing with separated dialogue. I read a lot, I write, but I find it much harder to express my thoughts through writing than through speaking.

Wikipedia is my ultimate procrastination spot because I find it far more educational and interesting than doing homework. I spend much more time reading articles than editing, though; sometimes I will fix minor grammar or formatting mistakes that I come across.

Nine times out of ten I'll be on an article relating to biology, which is by far my favorite subject to learn about. I like reading, but not for English class.

In 2008, Club Penguin was my major obsession and my best friend with whom I spend hours in every afternoon with. (Believe it or not, CP is actually where my username came from. My name is not Lily; rather, Lily is supposed to be Lily Evans.)
