editImages to do
editThis is a list that includes taxa of valid genera of dinosaurs without any illustration of recreation in life. I have proposed to apply it and draw a picture of each one per day. (The result will be that we will have 366 different images by December 31). The drawing is a simple lineart with shadows and simple finishes, just to show a brief idea of the animal and its proportions. The simplicity is due to the great need that prevails not only in wikimedia to have decent illustrations, but also on the internet. Therefore, the illustrations, as simple as they may seem, will be made as rigorously and neutrally as possible. This list includes only dinosaurs that do not have any illustration present in Wikimedia commons adequate enough to even include it in an image thumbnail of the List of valid dinosaur genera in its Spanish version. So they don't have any drawings or drawings that are so badly bad that it was necessary to include them. The reconstructions are made based on the necessary data indicated in the list, the specific genus and species, the references that go from the literature where it was named, described, to where recently established phylogenetic relationships are established. Their closest relatives to give them an appearance similar to them and apply phylogenetic bracketing to the illustration for greater parsimony. External images of the fossil, specimens, diagrams or other reconstructions. And finally the local images in case you have them to observe and rely directly on them to be as possibly as possible and in tune with them. If you see that there is a dinosaur that for some reason I did not include, and you think it needs to be added or you want to add it, go ahead! There is no problem. Moreover, I would be very grateful if you did. All images are reviewed on the image review page, any detail or comment will be well received and taken into account to improve any piece. Do it on the dinosaur image review page or on my discussion page.
What I hope to achieve with this will be that I initially have a simple image, but that with the passing of days, months and years. Go from this, to this.
