Craig Lowndes, OAM (born 21 June 1974) is an Australian racing driver, currently driving a Holden VF Commodore for Triple Eight Race Engineering in V8 Supercars. He has won the Australian Touring Car Championship and V8 Supercars Championship three times, in 1996, 1998 and 1999, and the Bathurst 1000 six times, in 1996, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2015.

Lowndes took part in his first Bathurst 1000 in 1994 and debuted in the Australian Touring Car Championship in 1996. He is the only driver to win the championship at the first attempt, aside from David McKay who won the inaugural title. He has won the most races in the combined history of the Australian Touring Car Championship and V8 Supercars, with 103, and is the only driver to have reached 100 race wins. He has recorded 13 podium finishes in the Bathurst 1000, more than any other driver. He has won the Sandown 500 five times.

Lowndes was born on 21 June 1974 in Melbourne, Victoria. His father, Frank, was a long-time chief scrutineer for the Confederation of Australian Motorsport. Lowndes married his first wife, Natalie, in 1997 and together they had two children: their son, Levi, and their daughter, Chilli. The pair separated in 2011 and now share custody of the children. In January 2016 Lowndes married Lara McDonald. He currently lives on Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
