Habitat and distribution edit
The pied plover is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are forest rivers, savannah ponds and the sea coast.[1]
