editTreksta, Inc. founder Dong Chil Kwon established Dong Ho, Ltd in 1988.8.8.[2] In 1991, changed the company name to Sung Ho, Co.[2]In 1993, Sung Ho Co. started to manufacture and develop K2 in-line skates.[2]In 1994, Sung Ho Co. created its own brand 'Treksta'.[2]In December 1997, launched second line 'Leisure Time.'[2]In 2004, launched Treksta Apparel. [2] In 2005, created its own outsole brand 'Hypergrip' [2] In 2007, combined all the company under 'Treksta. Inc [2]

- 1995, Treksta developed the first soft inline skate boots with K2.[3][4]
- 1999, Treksta developed ‘Digital Shoe’ line that allowed customers to scan their feet to make custom made shoes. [5]
- 2005, Treksta developed 'Independent Suspension Technology'(IST) concept from the car system. [6]
- 2006, Treksta developed IceLock technology for Hypergrip using glassfiber and special rubber compound[7]
