Acid Angel from Asia (Korean: 아시아에서 온 애시드 엔젤; RR: asia-eseo on aesideu enjel) is a South Korean girl group sub-unit of TripleS formed by Modhaus Entertainment. The groups first lineup rotation consists of members: Kim Yooyeon, the younger sister of singer Bibi, Kim Nakyoung, Gong Yubin, and Jeong Hyerin, who debuted with their first single 'Generation' on October 27th, 2022 [October 28th (KST)] followed by the digital release of their album on the 28th and the physical release a few days later on November 7th, 2022.
History
edit2022: Pre-debut
editMODHAUS revealed on September 16th, 2022 that their first "Gravity", chosen by fans would be formed. The members of TripleS chosen by a fan vote event held from September 21st to the 25th, 2022 were Nakyoung[1], revealed on the 22nd, Hyerin[2], revealed on the 23rd, Yubin[3], revealed on the 24th, and final member Yooyeon[4], revealed on the 25th.[5]
The first and second teasers for their debut single were released on October 22nd, 2022.[6] The albums tracklist and highlight medley was released on the 23rd.
2022-present: Debut
editOn October 28th, 2022 (KST), Acid Angel from Asia debuted their first single 'Generation' off of their debut album 'ACCESS'.
