Krivoy Porog (Russian: Кривой Порог, Karelian: Viäräkoški) is a rural municipality/rural settlement (сельское поселение) and its main settlement in Kemsky District, Republic of Karelia, Russia.
The population in 2013 was 793.[1] The distance to Kem is 50 km.
Geography
editKrivoy Porog is located by the Kem River.
Municipal unit
editThe municipal unit also contains the village (деревня) of Panozero as well as the settlements (посёлок) of Avneporog, Panozero and Shomba.[1] The village of Poduzhemye was also located in the area until it was submerged.
