My points of interest edit
I really enjoy collecting (and using) commercial Mauser rifles. I also collect Ross rifles and SMLE. But my interest does not stop there. Most of the time, I appreciate uncommon calibers and mechanisms. The Colt 1911 is my favourite handgun. I am an "experienced" reloader. I also enjoy hunting either birds with my dog or big games, especially bear and moose. My work experience as a mechanical designer and pressure system specialist brang me to look at firearms differently, as a complete system, understanding the limits of each mechanism better. While I really love European made firearms, my collecting preference is also oriented toward Canadian made firearms. My favourite two calibers are 6.5X55 SE and 9.3X62.
