De'Jauna Irving (born July 9, 1992), known professionally as Kallie Rock, is an American pop singer. [2]Independent Artist, Kalie Rock’s hit single Girls Just Wana Have Funds, was released on July 7, 2017.[3]

Early Life

De'Jauna Irving was born in Daytona Beach on July 09, 1992.[4] She was raised in  Lake Mary a city just outside Orlando, in Central Florida. Where she was raised and attended Lake Mary High School.[5]

Kallie Rock said she grew up listening to Aretha Franklin, Macy Gray, Cheryl Lynn, MC Hammer, Missy Elliott, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson.[6] She got into music at the age of 8 due to a family friend. She ran into Krayzie Bone, which ended up in a song collaboration between Kallie rock and  Bone Thugs n Harmony.[7]

Career

In 2013, she released a snippet of a single, Happily Ever After. After a 3 year Hiatus she ret

urned with her debut single Picture Me, on May 24, 2016. One year later on July 7, 2017 she released a second single Girls Just Wana Have Funds.[8] Her latest single featured in Ride With Me was released October 19th, 2018, features rising U.K. artist Macca Wiles.[9]

On June 11th, 2018 The Source announced Cyrus Smith's summer single "why" featuring Kallie Rock. [10]

On November 18, 2018, she performed on the Def Jam Records Undisputed Tour at the Florida Classic Riding Big Car Show in Orlando Florida. Other performers included DaniLeigh, Casanova, and Desiigner. The show was also hosted by 104.5 The Beat.[11]

Celebrity guest at the Boom Cups Celebrity Pro-Bowl Showdown, at  CFE Arena, in Orlando Florida. The event raised money for “The Chris Johnson foundation” and “D-Up On Cancer”, featured a half time performance by Rick Ross.[12] The event hosted other celebrities and athletes like Floyd Mayweather, Chad Johnson, Supreme Patty, Adam Jones and many more.[13]

Personal Life

Kallie Rock has always had a passion for basketball. She has played her entire life. While attending Lake Mary High School, she was a point guard on the girls basketball team, won a state championship[14], and was aired on ESPN when her team was invited to play at the ESPN RISE National High School Invitational, her high school was the first public school team invited to the tournament.[15] Towards the end of high school, she was being recruited to play college basketball, due to NCAA clearing issues, it led her to pursue music more seriously.

From there she met music mogul Steve Lobel, long time manager of Bone Thugs n Harmony, and many more.[16] Steve took Kallie under his wing and took her to various events and festivals.[17] At these events she was able to network and connect with other artists like Flo Rida, Keri Hilson, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and many more.

Since then she has continued to perfect her craft and finding herself as an artist.
