== Alan J. Baverman == (born in Baltimore, Marylad on May 19, 1956)[1] Alan Baverman received a B.A. in History from the University of Maryland in 1978 and a J.D. from Emory University in 1981. He was sworn in as a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Georgia on February 1, 2001[2]. He is best known for representing former President Jimmy Carter's good friend, Burt Lance, in 1981 criminal proceedings, and for presiding over the 2007 pretrial proceedings of the criminal case of grammy winner, rap star T.I.
