I am a complete newbie to Wikipedia editing, so please don't bite.
I'm not a horse professional, but I'm hoping to provide some citations to the Laminitis article and help provide some balance.
I buy and sell secondhand horse books for a living, so I usually have a lot of sources at hand. These don't usually extend to the very technical professional books, but they do include a lot of references at the level of a college equine studies program, such as the Equine Research books. They also include a lot of historical sources, like Lady Wentworth's books on Arabian horses and Emily Ellen Scharf's books on American Saddle Horses. As I get further involved with Wikipedia, I may be able to provide some more sources.
