The Midlands Zone is a United Kingdom-based gay news website and the largest free regional magazine[1] marketed to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community in gay bars and gay villages. It is published by the What's On Magazine Group.[2]
Midlands Zone offers their own Birmingham Pride guides[3] online and in print, as well as their regular monthly magazines, which are distributed through gay bars.[4] The monthly is the largest glossy gay magazine in the Midlands,[5] and in 2010, the Zone was nominated for the Stonewall Awards Publication of the Year.[6][7]
Both the magazines and the website offer regional and worldwide news of LGBT-related interest.
