Hello! My Wikipedia username is J947 and I mainly edit articles relating to New Zealand politics, but I also edit anything relating to my home country of New Zealand and !vote on requests for adminship. I also fight against vandalism sometimes, as well as reviewing drafts, saving articles, identifying problematic new articles, providing opinions on adminship, and trying to get the most vital 10,000 articles. I have one alternate account, J947 Public. If you want to send me something, go to my talk page and send me a message there.

Two Barnstars for YouEdit

  The Special Barnstar
Thanks for helping me learn so much about WP:VA. Linking my proposals for the same thing at different levels, suggesting for me to make said proposal at a different level, and using a great argument to help me know that Food and other such subjects do not belong in Level 1. DYK for Town of Dunedin by-election, 1859Edit

On 31 January 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Town of Dunedin by-election, 1859, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the 1859 by-election in Dunedin, New Zealand, was won by James Macandrew, who had precipitated it with his resignation from office? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Town of Dunedin by-election, 1859. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Town of Dunedin by-election, 1859), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
