Amina Wattoo Kasuri (Urdu: آمنہ وٹو قصوری) was born on 22 January 1981. She is a Pakistani philanthropist and educationist. She is the daughter of Parveen Begum and Mian Manzoor Wattoo, the former Chief Minister of Punjab. Amina is also the daughter-in-law of Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri and Nasreen Kasuri, the former Foreign Minister and the founder of Beaconhouse School System respectively..

Amina Wattoo Kasuri was born on January 22, 1981, in Okara, Punjab, Pakistan. She completed her bachelor’s degree in political science from Punjab University, Lahore.

Family

Amina Wattoo Kasuri is the daughter of the former Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Manzoor Wattoo. She has three brothers and five sisters. She is married to Nassir Mehmood Kasuri, Executive Director of Beaconhouse, and they have three children: Sulayman Khurshid Kasuri, RoshanAra Nasreen Kasuri, and Changez Manzoor Kasuri.

Philanthropic and charitable activities

Amina Wattoo Kasuri has been actively involved in philanthropic and charitable activities for many years. She is the founder and Executive Director of The Lighthouse, a non-profit organization that provides shelter, education, and medical care to orphans and children from underprivileged backgrounds. The Lighthouse was launched by the Beaconhouse Group in Islamabad in 2020. It has been recognized for providing a home filled with love and care to orphans in the city.

In addition to her work with The Lighthouse, Amina has also been involved with other charitable organizations such as Ramzan Dastarkhwan, which provides meals to the less fortunate during the month of Ramadan.
