Join the TCNJ Wikipedia Edit-athon! As part of the summer EOF program, we will be running a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon during classes on July 14 and 15, 2014. The goal is to introduce you to the exciting world of college-level research. To that end, we will all be adding and enhancing Wikipedia content. We will focus on improving and writing Wikipedia content about ?women and underrepresented minorities who...? |
Logistics
edit- What?
- A Wikipedia edit-a-thon is a special type of meetup to improve the encyclopedia. It is usually focused on a specific encyclopedic topic, and is a great way to attract new Wikipedians.
- Who?
- Anyone can contribute to Wikipedia. But this brief edit-a-thon event today will mostly happen within our little group.
- Where?
- The College of New Jersey Library, Lower Level, Library Instruction Room 5.
- When?
- Monday, July 14, 2014.
- How?
- We will be working on adding and enhancing existing Wikipedia articles. A list people and works will be on hand for you.
