Description
editThe Yunnan Clique was a rebellion government set up by Long Yun and his BFF's during the Big Long Rebellion of 1898-1899. It was set up to reject the Republic of China's rule of Yunnan after they were forced to join the ROC in a 1898 ultimatum. They were defeated in the Big Long Rebellion and were forced to go in exile to the Paracel Islands. The moving of Yunnanese soldiers and civilians to the Paracel Islands was known as the Big Swim.
Government
editThe legislature of the Yunnan Clique was known as the Yunnan Reorganization Committee. The sole leader of the Yunnan Clique was Long Yun, who served under the title of Führer. He was called a totalitarian dicktator by Kuomintang forces. The Yunnan Reorganization Committee consisted of 2 members, and the government in entirety had 3 members.
The government set various dogmas, such as doublethink. They also often referred to Long Yun as Long Brother.
