Background
editOn January 27, 2017, RuPaul tweeted "Merci beaucoup, my love. New album coming next week!"[1], confirming the release of his eleventh album. A song on the album, "Rock It (To the Moon)" was first used in the promotional teaser for season nine of RuPaul's Drag Race in February 2017, which premiered on the show's Instagram page. The album contains three new songs, as well as remixes of several songs from his studio albums, Supermodel of the World (1993), Foxy Lady (1996), and Red Hot (2004) as well as his soundtrack album, "Starrbooty: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" (2007)
Singles
editThe first song to be lifted from the album was "U Wear It Well" which was first heard in the teaser campaign for season eight of RuPaul's Drag Race.[2] It was subsequently made available to download on February 29, 2016. A music video was released the following day on World of Wonder's YouTube channel featuring every runway look worn by RuPaul over the last seven seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race.[3]
