Re: Copyright violation at Katrin becker article

The information was COPIED from those websites, and arbitrarily changing 2-3 words here or there does not make it kosher. copyright violations cannot be allowed at Wikipedia. That you used several sources, and that you attempted to put the information into an article at Wikipedia is a good idea; however what you need to do is to read these sources, and write this article in your own words, as wholly original text. To cut and paste from other sites, and to randomly change a word here or there, is a copyright violation and thus verboten at Wikipedia. --Jayron32|talk|contribs 01:17, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
