Hatim NAJI is a Moroccan Director, Cinematographer. he first found success with 5 short documentary films and 3 music videos he directed and shot that won him national attention.
Beginnings
editBorn February 12, 1990 in Casablanca (grew up in Oued Zem). Since a very young age, he loves movies and theater. At 9 years old, he already had questions about how films are made and how can i make one he even never enjoyed a movie he was always asking his familly questions about how this shot and that shot were made. Gradually, he became familiar with the camera to become a professional filmmaker.
Career
editHe began his directing career in the documentary world where he produced and directed 5 short docs, “La Vraie Beauté du Maroc” that won him national attention. He then became a popular filmmaker and was hired by one of the biggest Moroccan production companies in October 2013. He moved to Casablanca and has since shot a lot of commercials and music videos, and one of his successful music videos is "Ghayb9aw Jouj" by Shayfeen, best Music Video of the year 2014 (co-Director, Aerial Cinematography).
In 2014 Hatim NAJI Became a popular filmmaker in Morocco. He got interviewed many times by Magazines and was invited to many TV Shows where he got the opportunity to talk about both his work and his future projects. In the same year Hatim got a chance to work with Nabil Elderkin and Said Taghmaoui in Skrillex's music video "F&ck That" and Ciaran Donnelly (director) with Lightworkers Media in A.D.: The Bible Continues starring Juan Pablo Di Pace as Jesus, after that he got the opportunity to work with FIFA in one of their commercials "Who Will Be Champion of the World?"
Hatim NAJI is a professional Drone pilote too, his Aerial cinematography caught the eye of both national and international directors who has collaborated with him in a lot of projects. After that "DJI" started sharing his aerial videos on their official website, Which made of him a Moroccan reference in Aerial cinematography.
His short documentary films, his professional Aerial cinematography the Music videos he directed and his collaborations with international directors made of him a successful filmmaker every director wants to collaborate with.
