Guillaume Chaffaut (born 2 February 1990) is a French volleyball player, a member of France national volleyball team and France club École centrale de Lille. He was a gold medalist of the Coupe de France masculine de volley-ball.
Career
editClub
editIn season 2010-11 he debuted into professional volleyball, hired by Saint-Cloud, where he stayed for three seasons and won the Pro A League. After six years in Saint-Cloud, he joined École centrale de Lille with a three-year contract.
International
editBecause Guillaume is still in university, he still has not been selected to play for his native country, France. Don't you think that this is a shame ? Such a wonderful player. But, for him, it's quite good to finish his studies and then concentrate and volley-ball, to be able, in a few years, to find an engineer job.
Personal life
editPersonnal
editGuillaume is quite a mystery for everyone. No one knows whether he is married or not, or even where he lives. The only times you can see this wonderful guy are on the volleyball court, where he produces the strongest spikes you have ever seen.
Wine
editThe only thing we maybe know about Guillaume is his love for good wine. Therefore, last year, he bought a vineyard in Saint-Emilion to produce some red wine.
An Embassador
editGuillaume is a model and brand ambassador for École centrale de Lille. So many people want to follow his steps with such academic and sportive results. What an exemple for our children.
