The Magnolia Boutique Hotel is a 8-room, Rioplatense baroque style boutique hotel on a traditional cobbled street in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

History

At the end of the 19th century Palermo was a conflictive neighborhood, where people from lower classes lived. But now it´s a trendy quarter. This house was originally built in 1892 and it had at that time a notorious inhabitant for a very short period of time. Then, in 1930, it was turn into a orphanage directed by a catholic priest. Due to financial problems it was closed done in 1966. 40 years later it was bought by María Jordan, who refurbished and restored the old building and turned it into a boutique hotel.
