The Cipero Tramway was a railway connecting the town of Princes Town (then known as the Misson of Savana Grande) and Les Effort estate, just outside San Fernando in south Trinidad. Built by William Eccles in 1839 (or 1859), the tramway originally transported sugar cane and other produce, but was later used to transport passengers.[1]
