Adam Kills Eve is an Italian Post hardcore band coming from Firenze.

History

Short after forming the group in 2006 the band started working on their debut EP SeaSons which was released in 2007. Their first concerts took place in the whole Toskana area. After some played concerts in Italy the group started working on their second EP at the Bro Studios in Torino. The EP was released in 2009 via Sober Society and Nerdsound Records and is called They Almost Killed Us With Their Hypocrisy. The EP was official released while the Sober Society Italian Tour with Upon This Dawning. The band was opener for acts like Alesana[1], Cancer Bats[2], The Get Up Kids, Yashin[3] and Evergreen Terrace. In October 2009 the group played concerts with The Electric Diorama and My Last Fall in Cesena, Torino, Legnano, Brescia, Roma und Firenze on their Yes! Weekend Tour.[4]

After touring the band went back into studio where the group work together with Helio Di Nardo, bassist of The Electric Diorama, on their debut album which will be released in 2012. The album is called The Interruption System and will be a concept album. After some line up changes Adam Kills Eve played at the I-Day Festival in Bologna in front of 40,000 people together with Taking Back Sunday, Simple Plan, The Offspring and No Use for a Name.[5] On October 22nd, 2011 Adam Kills Eve was opening act for Tasters in Legnano.[6] In 2009 the group had a professional foto shooting with Salvatore Perrone who worked with Stigma, A Day to Remember, Bury Your Dead, Suicide Silence, Bring Me the Horizon and From Autumn to Ashes.[7] Perrone is also director at the first official music video for the song Ready Steady Save The World released in 2009.[8]

The band worked on their debut full-length album in 2012. First the release date was sheduled in the end of 2012 but was postponed to the beginning of 2013. The first single entitled Maybe in Space was released on July 27, 2012. The lyric video was directed by Tommi Antonini, the guitarist of Italian band Tasters.[9] In October same year Adam Kills Eve shared stage with Hopes Die Last in Conegliano.

After some line-up changes inside the band Adam Kills Eve released second single of the album, Ms Destruction, on January 18, 2013. One day later the debut album The Interruption System was released digitally worldwide and physically in Italy.[10] The band is currently looking for a record label to distribute their album worldwide physically. Their song Paralysis 2.0 is featured on the compilation album We Are Louder Than You which is the first release of Redfield Records´subsidiary Redfield Digital. The compilation was be distributed digitally only. 100 % of the income was be spend to the Hardcore Help Foundation. On August 7, 2013 the band announced that they have signed with Go With Me Records for Japan. The album will be released on August 21, 2013 for the japanese market.

At the moment Adam Kills Eve consists out of Federico Bini (Vocals), Giovanni Macca (Vocals, Guitar), Oscar Gigli (Drums), Alessandro Gavazzi (Bass guitar) und Francesco Aggozzino (Guitar).

Adam Kills Eve plays a Electronic influenced Post hardcore compareable by bands like Fail Emotions, Vampires Everywhere!, Asking Alexandria, Adept and Tasters. The band stated A Day to Remember, The Devil Wears Prada and Sky Eats Airplane as their influences.
