Glen Mark Martin edit

Graduated from Petersburg High School, Petersburg, TX in 1986. Received BS in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Texas Tech University in 1990. Currently employed by the University of Texas at Austin as an Exchange Administrator. Holds an MCSE-Messaging certification. Also worked as a performer at the Texas Renaissance Festival between 1991 and 2001 (the nickname "Spyglass" comes from a character portrayed at TRF), as well as briefly serving as Entertainment Director at the now-defunct Excalibur Fantasy Faire.

Interests include genealogy, sailing, pirate lore and history, computers (particularly the Macintosh platform and OpenVMS), visual effects (especially the work of Ray Harryhausen), the steampunk aesthetic, bookbinding, clockmaking, woodworking, and wet-plate photography. Currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the [Pace Society of America], an organization devoted to genealogical studies of the Pace surname.

Physics research interests (now solely an avocation) focus on the interpretation of quantum mechanics and the foundations of quantum field theory.
