Low Point
editLow Point is an independent recording label based in Nottingham, United Kingdom releasing mainly experimental, ambient, noise, avant garde and drone music. Established in 2006 and operated by musician Gareth Hardwick, Low Point's debut release was from noise rock group Bologna Pony in a cdr edition of only 30 copies. It has followed up to present day with specialized releases from Celer, Kyle Bobby Dunn, Machinefabriek, Simon Scott, Dag Rosenqvist and many other artists from around the world. Most of the releases are limited editions of 500 copies. Since the final quarter of 2010, Low Point has specialised in producing releases on vinyl format only.
Low Point was named as one of Textura's top ten record labels of 2009 and label of the year by music blog Lend Me Your Ears in 2010.
