Michael “Mike” Murray (b. December 31, 1970) is an American political activist and entrepreneur. [1] His company, TMA Direct, has made significant donations to the Children’s National Medical Center.

Philanthropy

Murray is involved with a number of charities; the most notable is the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. His company has raised more than $270,000 for Children’s with their Annual Golf Tournament Benefiting CNMC since 2006 [2] [3]. The golf tournament gave the opportunity for guests to golf with the pro’s which included PGA golfers such as Johnson Wagner and Charles Warren (golfer). Guests could also bid on big ticket items such as a dinner for 6 with Donald Trump. TMA Direct has also made contributions to the Acumen Solutions Race for the Cause. [4]

Murray graduated in 1992 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance from George Mason University, located in Fairfax, Virginia. [5]

Murray has been involved in the Direct Marketing industry for more than 18 years. He is the President & CEO of a Direct Marketing company called TMA Direct.[6] In 2004 and in 2006, TMA Direct, was ranked number eight in Virginia Business Magazine’s “Fantastic 50”, which recognizes the state’s fastest growing companies. [7] He is also the Owner and Managing Partner of Precision Data Management. Murray serves as a board member to the George Mason University School of Management as well as the Taylor Institute for Direct Marketing at the University of Akron. [8][9]
