Save the BFM Fund Save the BFM Fund is an non-profit organization, that was created in 2012 to sustain, keep and support the existence of Baltic Film and Media School. It is the largest sub-structure of the BFM Student council.Jonhy Van Kasilias was the author of the original idea. In 5. April of 2012 he and his fellow friends (all of them students at Baltic Film and Media school) from various departments published the video on youtube.com, that revealed the conspiracy against the school. As they wrote in their declaration:

  • We fight against the incorporation of Baltic Film and Media School into the Tallinn Technical University and transformation of it from artistically oriented institution into the place where video engineering specialists are just made.
  • We fight against any outer or inner treat that stands in way of development of BFM.
  • We say not to tyranny of Tallinn Technical University, but Yes to catchy, unique and cultural works of audio-visual media.
  • We will do all that we can to keep the BFM as internationaly and professionally acknowledged film school.
  • We will support our graduates and give them chance to prove that they are the best future professionals in the field.
