As an astrophysicist, writer and a huge fan of Wikipedia, I hope to make some useful contributions in the fields of astronomy and space, and also in some of my other areas of interest, such as local history.
My first project concerns Minor_planet#Naming. I intend to check through biographies, and ensure that there's a reference to asteroids in all cases where the International Astronomical Union has honoured a person - living or dead - by naming a minor planet after them, crossing-referencing to the main entry on each individual asteroid (e.g. 83 Beatrix). I'm also cross-checking against List_of_minor_planets_named_after_people
Because of other commitments, this may take some time!
