Emal Hamdard (born July 30, 2001 in Wardak, Afghanistan) is an Afghan author from the Pashtun Tribe, a proponent of nonviolence and the founder of the Bacha Khan School in Afghanistan.

His book, Nonviolence: One Way, Four Leaders (2017), is believed to be the only book about nonviolence written in the Pashto language to date. It highlights the lives and examples of Ghandi, Bacha Khan, Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela.

Hamdard is the founder of an organization made up primarily of Afghan youth called Peace Corner Institute.

Hamdard grew up in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Hamdard has studied communication and journalism at Kabul University.
