I'm a 22 year old English student from Surrey, desperately trying to find things I know enough about to write an article on that don't have articles written on them already. I've started out by writing articles on the albums of British rock group Free. I notice that very few of the novels I shall be studying in the 2005-6 academic year have articles written on them, so I may be able to oblige there when the time comes.

I am a big fan of Sergio Leone's Westerns, and recently I have been getting rid of my horror and science fiction DVDs and replaced them with less special effects-oriented films such as Withnail And I.
With television, I have been a fan of Doctor Who all my life.

I am a fan of Terry Pratchett and wrote the synopses on the large Discworld website the L-Space Web. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the kind soul who wrote the articles for the Discworld series has linked to them.
Recently, I was very impressed indeed by Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast trilogy. My literary tastes have become somewhat more esoteric in general since beginning an English degree.

I am heavily into blues and (old) rock, specifically with relation to the UK blues boom of the late 1960s. My favourite bands are Led Zeppelin (as you may have guessed), Free, the Rolling Stones, the Jimi Hendrix Experience and the Beatles. In terms of solo artists I am a huge fan of Rory Gallagher.
