About me: I am currently working as a consultant and have worked in the aerospace, electronics, avionics, space and defense industries supporting various aircraft, UAV, satellite, IT and other systems. I am a certificated U.S. pilot, an advanced instrument ground instructor, licensed FCC radio technician. I served in the Air Force as a Maintenance Officer, Acquisition Program Manager (aircraft and satellite systems). I attended SUPT in Del Rio, TX. I've worked with the E-3 and B-52 aircraft and at the LAAFB SMC. I worked as a program manager in Silicon Valley. My hobbies include optical microscopy, electronics, aircraft analysis and design, R/C flying, SCUBA, rock climbing, soaring, hang gliding, flying, collecting and restoring radio and avionic equipment, computer science, cryptography, avionic system design, navigation system design, failure analysis, photography, chemistry, machining and fabrication, writing, reading, classical music, jazz, long distance shooting, pistol shooting, holography, aircraft maintenance, aircraft building and most importantly my family (who put up with all of this ;-). I've received formal training in aircraft accident investigation, aerospace ground equipment, defense acquisition program management, satellite mission analysis and design, flightline maintenance operations, ISO certification, IT security, aerospace physiology, weapons safety, ONIR, computer security...
