editHi there! I am a religious historian with an emphasis on East Asian traditions and medieval Catholicism. In particular, I study global pilgrimages (both religious and secular) and their effect on the hospitality industry. I am a self-proclaimed Japanophile who has spent a fair portion of life there and in surrounding East Asian countries.
I'm particularly interested in improving articles related to Japanese Buddhism, Shintoism, and religious syncretism. There is so much that is misinterpreted and lost to language barriers.
