University Center

UBC Okanagan University Centre edit

The University Centre Building (UNC) was established in 2009, and is located in the University of British Columbia's Okanagan Campus, in Kelowna. The 75,000 sq. ft. building contains a variety of services designed to cater to the needs and well-being of their undergraduate and graduate students. There are banking services (ATM machine and RBC), food services (cafeteria), as well as a small second-hand bookstore on the first floor (GreenText). You can find further educational and student services on the second floor. Along with a medical clinic, health & wellness centre, and collegia on the third floor. UBC Okanagan's UNC also has a convenient location; it is within walking distance of the UBCO Exchange bus terminal.

Food edit

The ground floor of the UNC is a cafeteria consisting of five food kiosks or restaurants and seating area for students to eat inside and outdoors. Among these kiosks and restaurants are a student bar, sushi restaurant, and an Indian restaurant.

The UNC also houses a new student food bank called Pantry. This is a service run by the UBC Students' Union Okanagan (UBCSUO) offering food and groceries to students in need.

RBC edit

The University Centre's ground floor also houses the RBC Student Advice Centre, a mini-branch of RBC offering advice to students on opening accounts, credit cards, or student loans and other banking needs.

Separate from the RBC Student Advice Centre there is an RBC ATM machine for withdrawing cash.
