Reception

edit

In his 2015 documentary Vaporwave: A Brief History, amateur vaporwave musician Wolfenstein OS X described Infinity Frequencies's "Computer" trilogy as "essentially a collection of strange eerie repetitive loops of elevator music. The off-putting sounds reflect a sense of emptiness and sterility— a reflection of the soulless existence of modern technology."[1] Dallas Observer's Jonathan Patrick reviewed Infinity Frequencies's music as "grainy vaporware vignettes."[2] Rate Your Music's Harley Magoo compared them to Internet Club in that "both employ strict curatorial work with minimal editing and both are prolific."[3]
