The Needle Drop's Anthony Fantano described Wolfenstein OS X as "a bit of an amateur vaporwave musician and documentarian who had a very interesting YouTube video sort of documenting vaporwave's artistic trajectory up until about this year."[4] In an interview with Tiny Mix Tapes's C Monster, Hong Kong Express described Wolfenstein OS X as "one of the best when it comes to evoking a feeling through his music with the use of concept and narrative."[5]
