Deepak Kamboj (born 10 December 1986, Ludhiana) is a Swedish Indian Singer and a Record Producer currently based in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2017, he started his own Record Label in Stockholm, Sweden know as Folk Studios Sweden which support and provide music platform to independent musicians and artists.
Deepak recent work includes his own compositions like Happier, Livets Gåva, Talks, Ik Pal, Mera Naam.
In 2017 he was selected as one of the 100 participants to be interviewed in MIG Talks, a communication initiative that was carried out by the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket) to promote the knowledge of the migration to Sweden and make the people behind the migration statistics visible. Through the spread of interview stories with 100 people who have moved to Sweden during the period 2010-2015 which was supported by agencies like Delegationen för Migrationsstudier (DELMI), Statens kulturråd, Nordiska museet, Sveriges Internationella Talanger, Stockholms Stadsbibliotek, Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola, Stiftelsen Svenska Filminstitutet, Svenska Institutet, Invest Stockholm, Riksidrottsförbundet, The Local, Röda Korset, UNHCR.
In 2018, Deepak was also chosen by the Swedish News Agency "The Local" to host their #MySweden instagram account takeover which was very successful.
Early Life
Deepak was born in Ludhiana, Punjab and grew up in Dehradun, Uttarakhand and studied at U.P.E.S, Dehradun, Uttarakhand and started signing in college events. He has a younger brother Tarun Kamboj, mother Sadhna Kamboj, Father Vinod Kamboj who are based in India.
Personal Life
Deepak is married to Supriya Nanda Kamboj who was born in Stockholm, Sweden and has a 16 months son Vir Kamboj and the whole family is based in Stockholm, Sweden and works for company Scandinavian Airlines (SAS).
