"Darren is a proud member of the IGDA. His personal mission is to help others learn how to make good use of new technology for causes close to his heart and in particular to the promotion and development of games and education in our global culture. He's finishing his Master's degree in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he works as a designer and programmer of web-based tutoring software. After helping build the foundation of WPI's game development student club & major, he took on the position of Technology Co-Officer in the IGDA Education SIG in August 2006. He currently helps administer the IGDA wiki as well as the independent Casual Game Wiki. Darren is now starting his career in the games industry proper, and remains a regular attendee of the Boston Post Mortem, the monthly meeting of the Boston chapter of the IGDA."
