Genesis - A concept album delving into the idea of human evolution and its counterparts. I marks the beginning of this journey when we find that self replicating rna manipulates itself into complex shapes and thus becomes the foundation for other things to come. II represents dna based life, separating data from function. Song writing and Composition edit

Guitarist Julius Callahan is responsible for most of the songwriting and composition of Dantesjuice. "The gears are always turning", he says. "Its hard for me NOT to think about music...I'll wake up out of a dead sleep with an idea for a riff, or song, so i'll pick up my guitar and head straight to my computer and start tracking...I'll run into the occasional dry spell every now and then, but its usually not long before im hit with a wave of inspiration, anything from entire song ideas to full album concepts."

According to Julius, most of the bands production is done "in house". "Home recording studios have really come along way", he says "I have a nice little setup at home and we can get some really good sounds from what little gear i do have. Usually i'll track most of my ideas including the drums, bass and keyboards just to get a pretty good outline of the song structure, then i'll pull in Jed and the rest of the guys to get their input, see what they like and dislike about the new jam...from there we just start recording."
