Why medicine?

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ever since I was a little girl I've loved medicine. Helping others and taking care of people is what I love. I think if you want to study medicine you have to be passionate about it. There is nothing easy about this career. You have to study hard to really understand and learn how the body functions. When you are already a hospital's resident you have to deal with patients that sometimes will die. That may be one of the most challenging things about medicine. Whenever I study I get amazed about how complex and extraordinary the body is. It is not only the desire to help people, but the absolute fascination on ourselves. People will come and go but the ones that really love this career will endure. It's amazing how much I love being here and having the opportunity to study medicine. I have my parents' support and that's very important to me because they help me achieve my dreams. Nobody pushes me to do things that I don't want and medicine is definitely not one of them. I love this career and I have never thought I could be something else. There's no way I'll ever quit. Even when I feel I can't do it, it inspires me to study harder and to give my best.

I absolutely love everything about this career ♥

I'm not really sure which area I'm interested in but I really like gynecology or pediatrics. 18:04, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Danieladelrio
