Bioz is a free search engine primarily accessing the PubMed database to provide scientists with objective ratings and recommendations for laboratory reagents, equipment, assays and protocols. The search engine mines millions of published peer-reviewed research articles and uses Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning to clean, tag and organize the data with a simple Star System[1].

History edit

Bioz was co-founded by serial entrepreneur and CEO Daniel Levitt, and Stanford research scientist Karin Lachmi, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer.
