Charu Sharma (born 10 September 1975) is an Indian director, producer and screenwriter of Hindi films, best known for the films Ambassador Of Socialism (2016), Life journey of Dr. "Ram Manohar Lohia".

Early life and education

Charu Sharma was born on 10 September 1975 in "Lucknow" to a Brahmin family. Her father J.P.Sharma was in Uttar Pradesh Police services in "Lucknow". Charu Sharma did her post-graduation in english literature from "Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University" Agra. She was a film buff. She spended her early years in to research sector especially with social research and market research but she wanted to be a film director in "Hindi films". Some how this was not so easy for her. In later period she was active as writer and has written for magazines and portals and from there she got connected with film industry and written a couple of scripts and screenplays. Charu's amazing journey to "Hindi films" started with Ambassador Of Socialism (2016), Life journey of Dr. "Ram Manohar Lohia". This is a feature length docu-fiction on the life of legendary socialist and politician Dr. "Ram Manohar Lohia".

Without having any connect in film Industry Charu struggled as assistant director in many production houses for many years and gradually established herself as a writer, director and producer of the film Ambassador Of Socialism (2016), Life journey of Dr. "Ram Manohar Lohia". She learnt the filmmaking technicalities and process while working on various film projects. Her first directorial venture Ambassador Of Socialism (2016) is already being discussed and considered as a cult classic during its production stage.
