The “legend of zhen huan” is a hit show in China which intends to establish its market abroad.
The story arose during Qing dynasty [1] and it laid special stress on depicting malicious imperial harem[2] although the country is superficially prosperous and the citizens are at peace. However, there is a grave but cruel depriving imperial position event was happened in that time causing every single imperial concubine was enforced to persecute others in order to make self insurance. Therefore, the main protagonist zhenhuan [citation needed]is transformed from a pure girl to ultimately adept in scheming against others(the mother of qianlong）[3]At the end of story, zhen huan achieved her family’s goal to be the most powerful Empresses through paying a high cost of her fervent love with Prince Guo of the First Rank[4]
Background --- Qing dynasty --- yongzheng and imperial concubine Under the govern of yongzheng emperor, the whole society is prosperous and the citizens are at peace but it cannot cover intensive atmosphere during imperial concubines especially between Empress xiaojingxuan [5] and Imperial Noble Consort Dunsu [6]. The leading lady of <<the legend of zhenhuuan>> does not want to engage in this cruel battle and she is only drafted into the imperial concubines as a matter of routine[7]. However, because Some twist of fate directs zhenhuan from a pure girl to be a wily woman only because of self preservation.
Zhenhuan --- Noble Lady Wan[8]As the daughter of The minister' zhenyuandao , zhenhuan is held a tricky attitude towards drafting into the imperial concubines with her sister shenmeizhuang. However, because she looks after the first empress of qianlong so zhenhuan gets a previous opportunity to be Noble Lady Wan. At first, Noble Wan is only interested in playing with other Nobles and she is a pure writing fancies instead of pushing others aside. However, the emperor was really fascinated with elegant character and classical knowledge of her. It is precisely because wining emperor’s favor, the other concubines nurse jealousy against Noble Wan and this cause her first abortion. Therefore, she decides leave no stone unturned to resist the murder who is framed her baby. However, there is nothing to quell potentially dangerous wave hiding during each concubine. As the best friend of Noble Wan, Noble shen is framed to make a feint of pregnant in order to obtain more affections from the emperor. From this time on, Noble Wan makes every endeavor in offending to Imperial Noble Consort Dunsu. Fortunately, Noble Wan depends on her wisdom to resist others in strength and has borne a girl called Heshuo Princess Huaike[9]. Emperor is happy to obtain a Princess so Noble Wan is given the title of Consort Wan.
However, Noble Wan is tired of fighting with others and gain an insight into her mind that the merciless of emperor so she discard any title to become a Buddhist nun[10]. In the temple[11], Consort Wan firstly was being bullied by the Buddhist nun who are abused their power into also a common Buddhist nun zhenhuan doing a lot of heavy jobs, like cleaning in cold winter and bushing toilet in a dirty atmosphere. The abbot is merciful and help her a lot.However, zhenhuan finds her true love with Prince Guo of the First Rank because of affection of literature and passion towards loving. Finally, they decide to elope like Chinese Folklore Liangshanbo Yu Zhuyingtai[12]but the prince Guo is dispatched suddenly to Gobi[13]in order to repeal xiongnu[14] and his unsure death news is deliver after several months. The Consort Wan is Sorrowful through loss her true love during a long periods, then she cheer up herself to meet emperor again on purpose in order to make revenge.After that, she close the emperor directly and cheat him that she is pregnant 4 month. The emperor is really happy because he naively think he is the father of kid. In fact, the Prince of Guo is the father of that kid. When Consort Wan give birth to a healthy twins of Hongyan[15] and Kurun Princess Hexiao(she was given by Consort Dun finally[citation needed]When she finally obtain the title of Imperial Concubine Wan through variety of events, she sees Price Guo who is still alive.
Imperial Concubine Wan is really sad but she has to remain the same as usual to prevent others distinguishment. Nevertheless, the emperor ultimately distinguish subtle emotion between Imperial Concubine Wan and his brother so he enforce Wan to kill Prince Guo. The Prince Guo detect this dangerous impass between Wan and him so he suicide himself in order to leave a live way to the Imperial Concubine Wan. At the end of story, the Imperial Concubine carries about her true love to Prince Gup using kings of tricks to defeat the emperor and makes final revenge costing her dearly.
