George at the London Marathon

George Cathcart was born on the 23'rd of April 1986 in Camberley and spent the early years of his life there before moving to the sleepy market town of Petersfield, Hampshire. Here he lived with his parents at Madeline Road for a number of years. At the age of 8 he moved to Steep, Hamsphire; a small hamlet just outside of Petersfield, to a place called Roke House and attended the local primary school. In 1997 he moved to Ditcham Park School to take his GCSE's and left in 2002 with 8 GCSE's. Alton College was his next stop, where he flunked the entire thing in sophisticated style and grace, returning 2 shining E grades and a battered sense of reality.

Following leaving Alton College in the summer of 2004, George remained in a dormant state until December of that year, where he did some work experience with a financial journalist, John Foster, at the Financial Times in London. In the spring of 2005 he took a job at Baldwins Nursery in Liss and worked the summer there. It was here that he decided to shape up and get fit and healthy. He also decided that two E grades weren't going to cut it at university and so enrolled at South Downs College for the fall of 2005, taking English Language, Biology and Information Technology. In the spring of 2006, george competed in the London Marathon and came in at 4:38, placed 21415. He is currently in his second year of A-levels, and is performing well.
