The Onze-Lieve-Vrouw ter Kempenkerk is the parish church of Balendijk, a hamlet in the Belgian city of Lommel. The address of the church is Tortelstraat 1.^[1]

History edit

This church was filled in 1966 when the district was growing because of the location of the Philips glass factory in the vicinity. In the 80's of the 20th century, another 900 houses were added as part of the new building district Balendijk-West, which increased the number of believers.^[2]

The church building looks like an emergency church. The architectural qualities are minimal.
