Just a quick "thank you" for voting me for admin. Now all I've got to do is find out how to use these worrying new powers... Grutness|hello?   06:19, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for supporting me on my RfA. It's always nice to get some positive feedback. I hope I can put my new abilities to some good use. -- grm_wnr Esc 17:39, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hi BlankVerse. Thank you for supporting my recent RfA. I was surprised and humbled by the number of positives votes. I'll be monitoring RfA regularly from now on and will look for a chance to "pay it forward". In light of your comments, I'll also try to play an active role in trying to help SchmuckyTheCat, Huaiwei and Instantnood resolve their differences. Cheers, --MarkSweep 02:32, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for supporting my RFA. It couldn't have happened without your effort. FeloniousMonk 18:06, 15 August 2005 (UTC)

My successful bid for adminship (64-2). — FREAK OF NURxTURE (TALK) 06:46, Dec. 17, 2005

I don't have a fancy layout like other new admins, but I just want to thank you for your support at my RfA. It passed 47/3/1, so I have officially been promoted. I hope I won't let you down. If I'm not doing something properly, please tell me. Aecis Mr. Mojo risin' 21:27, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

  • Congrats, and thanx for the thanks. If you had used one of those stupid colored boxes for your RFA thank you I would have tried to take back my vote—thank you for not following that fad. Good luck, and don't abuse your new toys. ;-) BlankVerse 11:24, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
Those what kind of boxes? <glares>  ;-) Tomertalk 06:12, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your support on my RfA.

Unfortunately, it failed to reach consensus. Nonetheless, it proved an opportunity to establish contacts and cooperation with many supportive editors, which will be beneficial to editing Wikipedia in the future. Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters (t @) [11:57, 25 January 2006]

Okay, this is perhaps a bit overdue, but thank-you for your support in my recent RfA! I passed with a final vote count consensus of (82/1/0), which was a lot of support that I really appreciate. I'll try to live up to the expectations; and on that note, if there's ever something I do wrong (or don't do right), please spit in my general direction. Cheers! --PeruvianLlama(spit) 05:31, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

Gracias compa...

Thanks for your kind words about me and for your support during my recent RfA. In case you hadn't noticed, it was successful, and I now have access to sysop tools. I hope to use them for the good of the encyclopedia and the community. I hope you don't mind if I nudge you for advice now and again. PAZ, --Rockero 00:08, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Sukh's RFA - Thanks!

Thank you for your vote on my RfA. Unfortunately there was no consensus reached at 43 support, 18 oppose and 8 neutral. I've just found out that there is a feature in "my preferences" that forces me to use edit summaries. I've now got it enabled :) Thanks again. Sukh | ਸੁਖ | Talk 15:46, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I would like to express my gratitude for your participation at my recent RfA. The final vote was 68/21/3 and resulted in me becoming an admin!

For those of you wo supported my RfA, I highly appreciate your kind words and your trust in me. For those who opposed - many of you expressed valid concerns regarding my activity here; I will make an effort in addressing them as time goes on while at the same time using my admin tools appropriately. So, salamat, gracias, merci, ありがとう, спасибо, धन्यवाद, 多謝, agyamanak unay, شكرًا, cảm ơn, 감사합니다, mahalo, ขอบคุณครับ, go raibh maith agat, dziękuję, ευχαριστώ, Danke, תודה, mulţumesc, გმადლობთ, etc.! If you need any help, feel free to contact me.

Hey BlankVerse,

I just would like to thank you for your support in my recent request for adminship, which passed with a final tally of 54/13/11. I appreciate the trust expressed by members of the community, and will do my best to uphold it.

Naturally, I am still becoming accustomed to using the new tools, so if you have suggestions or feedback, or need anything please let me know. - Gilliam 21:15, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Congradulations.
I was very disappointed with the reasoning used in some of the oppose votes, but I'm very glad that the consensus opinion was for you to gain the privileges and responsibilities of being a Wikipedia administrator. My best advice is Use common sense (even if it isn't so common), and don't consider every minor problem a major catastrophe that needs fixing immediately. BlankVerse 06:18, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Many thanks for your early support and pointing me in the direction of some helpful resources. Now that the RfA is has succeeded, I look forward to resuming my old routine here without any added stress :) Hope to see you around. - Gilliam 06:29, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
