About Me
My name is Alex, and I have a passion for level/environment design and enjoy gaming. I'm an Australian, and have lived on both the west and east coasts, from Western Australia to Queensland and recently to New South Wales. Sydney has been great to me so far, and I've only been here since January 2015!
I'm the head of Bigfoot Design Studios (BigfootDS), a one-man-business that focuses on virtual reality and game development.
I'm also an educator at Coder Academy in Sydney, Australia, spending my time there between the K-12 programs, corporate training programs, assisting with web app development bootcamps, and creating course content.
Random Information:
- I have size 15 feet (AU sizing, they're basically a foot long)
- I am 6'3", or 193cm tall.
- I own gaming consoles & handhelds from both Nintendo and Microsoft, but not Sony. Sorry, Sony, I'll get there one day!
- I love Halo!
- I love Pokemon!
- I love dark chocolate!
- I love licorice!
- I love V Energy Drink, and have had at least one can of it almost every day since late 2009 / early 2010.
- I love books, fiction and non-fiction. Anything from the faux-journal of Doctor Halsey to the biography of Ken Alibek, and all sort of sci-fi and fantasy series as well.
